Day 5 Preview: The Rockies!

Today Rusty crosses the Rocky Mountains!

Rusty's challenge today will be crossing the Rockies without overheating. Kirk and Wendy know the drill. They left early - 4am - to get to the steeper grades before it gets hot outside. Then they'll take a break during the heat of the day and go back at it again. As of this writing, they were cruising through Laramie, Wyoming.

The rest of the caravan - Mr. Martini with his truck and airstream and the Sentinel driving the car with Sly and Fly - is starting later, closer to 9am. We're hoping to swing by the Pony Express monument first, and with the Sentinel driving, Sly is hoping for more photo ops today.
