The Rusty Iris at Burn Night - Burning Man 2025

Burn night is the crescendo of Burning Man. The whole City gathers around the Man, which is Burned after a mind-blowing fireworks display.

But first, all the art cars gather to form a ring of light around the Man. During this time, you can walk the ring and see almost all of the 740 mutant vehicles at the event.

We had spent so much time and effort bringing Rusty to this point, it was hard to realize we had finally arrived for the big show of the big show!

But as the sun went down, the crowd grew, and the lights and fire came up, there was no denying that all the work paid off and we had arrived!!!

The view from Rusty was almost unbelievable. All those lights, all those people and bikes, and Rusty right in the middle of it all. For years we had talked about watching the Man burn from the top deck of Rusty. Now it was here.

After the Man burned, it was drive time on the playa, visiting the art at night and celebrating a high point in Rusty's life!
