We Made Our First Day Goal!

1:00am - Hello Lexington, Kentucky!!!
We planned on about 7hrs of driving, and ended up with close to eleven hours of travel. Is it possible that the entire state of West Virginia is having road construction? And how about driving rain and flooded roads with almost 0% visibility? At least a couple hours were dedicated to unpacking and repacking Rusty and the trailer.
BUT WE MADE IT!
The great news is that changing that fan seemed to fix Rusty's overheating problem, or at least help it enough to get us this far. Of course we have the Rockies in our future. But one step at a time. See you tomorrow!
You all are troopers! Love seeing the progress on the map. I only wish I could hear all the comments from inside the cars passing this impressive caravan. Do you have a hashtag on the side of Rusty so maybe we can search it in social media? How fun would it be to see and hear people's reactions. Mom and I talk every day about your progress. The Florida crew is cheering you all on!
So proud of y'all. And considering that when I spoke to BP she was going 15mph, getting to Lexington is super impressive!
